I had greater success using my virtual/dual-boot madness than a lot of Windows users who had to download all of the applications to their desktop. I never had any issues with lagging unless the router was crowded with other users and in that case, I would just run a virtual desktop, which was oftentimes faster. would recommend at least 256GB though because dual-boot takes up like 80GB). Only planing to play some League of Legends from time to time and something like Among us, Human Fall Flat, whatever comes at the time etc.

I do own a PS4 Pro and will probably in a year time consider buying PS5, so playing AAA titles would not be an issue.

Long answer - I only truly played one demanding game on my PC (Cities: Skylines, with all DLC's, dosen of mods and workshop assets, totaling over 50GBs of RAM :)).

Other software I need/will need are: Scilab, Matlab, Dymola, Simulink, DOSBox, PSPICE etc.

Most of my time is being spent developing for Linux-based systems (think of robots driven by Arduinos or Raspberry Pi, ones based on Robot OS etc.) which I can develop on probably any machine (ARM could be a plus, do some testing on the Mac itself).

I do own and use Apple products regulary (currently iPhone XS, owned iPhone 7 and 5s before, and an iPad 7), and use Apple Music as my music streaming service of choice.

Now, since Apple has introduced a very interesting new chip, I was thinking about migrating to some of M1 powered Macs.
